Fact: UP Diliman hosts the first Oblation, which was made by Prof. Guillermo Tolentino.
I went to UP Diliman yesterday to take care of my transfer papers. It was my first time there, and I have to say, the place was absolutely fantastic. Here's a summary of my day yesterday, from the moment I left Los Banos to the time I went back:
Coolness.8:00 AM. Took a bus from Los Banos to LRT Buendia.
10:00 AM. Arrived in Buendia. Took the LRT to Taft, and then MRT to Guadalupe. After 30 minutes of train rides, I took a jeep to my brother's apartment. Brief rest.
11:20 AM. Took a taxi to Katipunan, where we met Kuya Jacques, one of my brother's friends who agreed to assist us around UP. Took lunch at Ken Afford, and then hired a tricycle to bring us to UP. Anxious.
12:35 PM. Arrived at UP. Exuberant and excited, I kept pointing at things with open-mouthed awe. Went to AS101 to submit requirements, but found with slight disappointment that they are on lunch break. Kuya Jack offered to tour us instead. Hot day. Cool sights. Poor feet.
12:40 PM. Ate at Chocolate Kiss for some dessert. Again, I'm astonished. There are freaking two-star restaurants atop buildings. Holy macaroni.
1:30 PM. Went back to AS101. Submitted requirements, got scolded because my brother was speaking for me. Vowed to get revenge with that guy someday. ^^
2:10 PM. Took a lot of pictures in front of Palma Hall and Sunken Garden. Don't blame us. It was great fun. You may view the pictures in my brother's Multiply site here.
3:00 PM. Jeep to Avenue Station, MRT to Taft, LRT to Buendia, bus to Los Banos.
6:00 PM. Arrived back. Mission accomplished.
i took no pictures today. :[ and it was also my first time there. i was super awed, too. :))
